Hub of Hope is currently offering you to undertake this e-Learning course two ways:

WARNING:

As this course deals with the realities of death and dying, you will need to set aside some time to be able to process any issues that might arise for you.

However, by being prepared you can take a lot of uncertainty and fear out of an end-of-life journey for yourself, your family or a client, their whanau or their care givers.

Annette Tate - Champlain

“I have undertaken this course twice, once as a participant and the second time as a facilitator of the Network Builder Course, and I have found it to be well-grounded in current research and very practical.

Even though I have had several years' experience working with people at end of life as a spiritual carer, I still learned new information and developed new skills through this course. It is presented in bite sized pieces, making it easy to work through at your own pace and has been a valuable addition to my kete. ”

Andrew Rowe - Chaplain: Hospital Chaplaincy Aotearoa

“I really enjoyed taking the Professional Development Course. It challenged and helped me to grow in becoming more confident and comfortable when dealing with patients who are in their end-of-life stages and who have a terminal illness. It has also been helpful for me to understand how I can support whanau and loved ones dealing with grief and loss and how I can help them during these difficult times. It has given me and challenged my perspectives around dying, which can be very much a taboo subject in today’s society.”
