Are you interested in receiving training to support someone who has a life-limiting illness.

Hub of Hope trains you to bring the everlasting Hope of Jesus into their desperate situations.

Professional Development option:

You can take this course as a stand-alone learning exercise to help you personally learn how to help the sick and dying or learn about the process of what to expect during the dying process, and how to offer hope, purpose, and meaning in this journey.

If you or your family have been given a life changing diagnosis and are looking for help and support in this situation, we feel for you, and hope that the course blesses your situation and inspires the best journey full of hope and with the fewest regrets.

However this course is very intensive and we have found most people struggle to keep momentum without the help of fixed times, and talking about what has come up for them in the zoom sessions. So we really recommend the “Network Builder Course”!

However, if you complete the “Personal Development Course” and later want to change your mind by integrating into the “Network Builder” pathway then feel free to contact us to discuss this process.

Hope Companion option:

Hub of Hope NZ wants to build a network of trained believers that can confidently take the everlasting hope of Jesus to the dying, and theses people we have called “Hope Companions.”

Becoming a Hope Companion might be someone who has a close family member or friend who has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.

Or, a Hope Companion might see the need in the community for someone to be a spiritual support for those who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and be willing to serve their community in this way.

The Hope Companion, in partnership with the Hub of Hope and their community, will be empowered to better support those around them.

If this sounds like you, then please sign up for the “Network Builder Course”

Hope Champions:

Hope Champions are made up of people who have completed the Full online course and have been shoulder-tapped by Hub of Hope to see if they would run the course alongside an existing Champion, before taking on the training and mentoring role of Champion themselves.

The Hope Champion role will include mentoring and helping serve the Hope Companions and Hope Facilitators by providing supervision, and wellbeing support.

A Hope Champion might currently be a Pastor, Priest, Chaplin, community, or ministry leader, but they must be endorsed by their faith community to serve in the role and become the Hub of Hope contact person for their community.

The journey toward becoming a Hope Champion begins with signing up for the “Network Builder Course” and becoming a Hope Companion.

Please let us know about your interest in this role on your application to take the “Network Builder Course”

Hope Facilitators:

The Hope Facilitator role is one that helps connect, gather and promote Hub of Hopes work in their church or local churches.

The journey toward becoming a Hope Facilitator begins with signing up for the “Network Builder Course” and first becoming a Hope Companion.

Hope Facilitator are made up of people who have completed the full online course and have been shoulder-tapped by Hub of Hope to see if they would take on this role, and maybe also be asked to run the course alongside an existing Champion.
